As i am a member of the Innocent Drinks website, i was given an opportunity to try out a ‘Graze’ lunch box for free (Thanks Innocent!!). These are basically small boxes of goodness (fresh and dried fruit, nuts, seeds etc) that Graze hand-pick for you based on the preferences you choose when you sign up.

You choose the day you want your box to arrive, and they deliver it to you, first class, for a total of £2.99
Unfortunately, my first box arrived 3 days late (they use Royal Mail, not their own delivery service) so my fresh grapes had gone bad. The dried apples and mixed seeds however tasted great!
Now, having only signed up to the free box, i was a little surprised when i got an e-mail saying “Your second Box has been despatched”. I signed into the website and realized that i had been signed up for weekly deliveries without my permission (or without this being made clear to me when i signed up). So be warned if you want to try a one off and check to see if you have been roped in. Thankfully though, i got my second box for £1.49 and it arrived on time so i got to enjoy my fresh fruit.
I think that this is a really nice idea to try and get people to eat more healthily, and it promotes environmentally friendly living too, with its cardboard packaging. However, at £2.99 a time i would find this a little pricey to eat everyday, especially as i would like a little more than fruit for my lunch. Saying that, i think a one off box every week would be a nice compliment to a healthy diet.
I would recommend everyone to give it a try, especially as the first box is only £1.49. You can find out more information and sign up for a discounted box here
Stanwick Lakes
Stanwick Lakes is a really lovely place to spend a day. It’s great if you have kids (or if you are a big kid!) as there is a large park area with lots of climbing frames and water activities, as well as some tyre swings and an assault course hidden around the walking trail.

For those who enjoy walking, the park is a really good size with lots of little lakes, bird spotting areas, bridges and an accessible trail to follow.

There is attractive visitors centre overlooking the lake that serves a small range of snacks and has a cute gift shop. It’s a great day out for people of all ages, and is probably the best one we have been to yet. Car parking is £3 for the day, but there is ample space to park. I’d recommend you bring a bike and explore the whole grounds, though they do offer bike hire on site.
Postcode for SatNav users: NN9 6QY (follow the signs, it’s just off Stanwick round about).
My rating: 9/10
Country Parks…
Recently, my weekends have been spent exploring different country parks in and around northamptonshire. A friend suggested I write a blog about it… and so here it is! I’ll post a nice picture of each one we visit and give it a mark out of 10
Today we went to East Carlton CP near Corby. We didn’t fully explore it as we went there for a picnic, so will be venturing back there in the near future to check it out!

Weekend in Skeggy!!
I got back this evening from a lovely weekend in Skegness with my dads side of the family.
To get to dads house, which is in the middle of nowhere in Sloothby, our old Sat Nav used to take us down all the dark muddy back lanes that are only big enough for one car (but are expected to be shared by cars and farm trafffic!) but thankfully the new Sat Nav took us on the wider back lanes (the place is so remote you can’t escape back lanes!) so the journey there and back was good!
We got there quite late on the friday night, so we had just enough time to have a good chat and munch on some cheese salad batches (Rolls/buns to those not from the Midlands!).
We woke saturday morning to beautiful sunshine, so we decided to go to work with my dad and enjoy Skegness’s beach!

At around 12, dad went to Spalding to watch a football match, so we decided to go and explore there as it is a nice little market town. We took a stroll through the town centre, walked along the canal and relaxed in the Ayscoughfee gardens.

After a very yummy meal of Jacket potato, cheese and salad (scrumptious!) we went to the local pub and took part in a Quiz, which got very heated! I owned the music round though! Sunday was spent playing a version of hop skip and jump with my little sister, attempting to Hula Hoop and laughing at dad when he shouted at the football players on TV!

It was a really lovely weekend, especially as i have not been to their house since Boxing Day 08! I’m going to try and plan a day with my mums side of the family soon, once they all get better (damn flu!), before i commit to the over-workness of my final school placement. Good times

How fantastic is that? If you head to his Website you will find this among a giraffe, Spongebob, pac man and more! The creator is hoping for a book deal to showcase his handy-work, and I really hope he gets one, as I will definitely buy it!
Keep up the good work funky Lunch!!
I have been busy…
Just a quick update on the changes i have made to my website. The Home-page is much cleaner now and i have added more links so you can find the new blog and the plushies page! I have also updated the About section with some new pics (which are much prettier than before :p ) And that’s it really! It doesn’t sound like much but I think it looks much nicer

New Blog!
After almost deleting my website jubbliful.com, I decided I would instead jazz it up a little and make a few changes. One of those changes was to add a blog so I can waffle on about anything and everything ‘Me’ related! Enjoi
Oh, and check out my boyfriend’s website, just because he is awesome!
